I should be fasting today, as I didn't yesterday. But I had yogurt and blackberries for breakfast, black coffee. One or two small short breads have passed my lips. I'll try to get away without lunch, or just a bowl of lettuce, cucumber and tomato. Then it's eggs and ham for dinner with more salad. So I'm not counting calories but I'm sort of fasting. Possibly I won't drink wine or beer, but I make no promises.
I don't know how you do it, @Sallyo! I find it near impossible to stay on track during this holiday break when DH is waltzing around the house with special imported beer, buttery shortbread bickies and savoury crisps in his hands. It's a bit too much for me... I cave in every time! We don't normally stock up on naughty foods and drinks, so sticking to fasting is easy in a fail-proof environment... But these past few weeks... Forget it! LOL!
I will see how I go too. :like:
I'm Scottish and it's hogmanay ...say no more!
Hello Sallyo, I am kinda fasting too. My first fast after the Christmas feast. No breakfast and no lunch. Only black tea and water AND 3 pieces of Christmas chocolate hanging still around the house
But, yet, I am happy to be fasting today, to start back on the straight and narrow...
Good luck to all post Christmas fasters :clover: :clover: :clover:
