Liquid fasting 14th-19th April
13 Apr 2014, 20:48
Ok guys I'm in for tomorrow but thought I'd start the thread.aim is 2liquid fasts and 1 normal fast(4:3) with days off in between. Have a but if a sniffle but feel ok. Coffee, tea and novel and fizzy water all day tomorrow. I have homemade siup(tomatoes and coconut milk) if all comes to all. I'd like to avoid it if possible though as although home made it is high is cals and carbs due to coconut milk. anyone with me?
Yes I'm in. Monday morning and I'll be sticking to water and tea until tomorrow breakfast.
Hi @jmousey and @KataMac, I am already doing my Sunday liquid fast (early evening here). My first one on Wed was great and I lost 2 pounds, 1.9 of which have stayed away as of this morning.
I have found this very doable so far. Have had one 35 kcal miso soup and lots of black coffee and tea. Off to bed early as feeling sleepy.
Good luck you two tomorrow (Monday) :clover: :like: :clover: :like:
I am in today, liquid fasting my preferred modus operandi. Will have teas, miso, modified bullet coffee and if I flag green soup.

All the best everyone
6pm and I'm trying to get some things done but hunger is distracting me. Hmmm, just back from a walk so will have to find something else to do which doesn't involve me having to concentrate, because that clearly isn't going to happen!
excellent guys - 9am here. I have a bootcamp class at 6pm - yikes. I'll have an old bovril before that to give me some energy and just take it as easy as possible at it. So far so good as I'm still full from yesterdays takeaway. Thats why my Monday liquid fasts are alwaysso easy - I'm like a camel - the kebab and chips usually keep me full to late in the evening

@@katamac try a bath - I find it helps pass time and keeps the pesky cold away which is tough on liquid fast days
Thanks for the suggestion - I don't really like baths though and to be honest, it would be so many years since it's been used it would need a really good clean first. Oh there you go! That would be a distraction! Thanks :)
any time :-) It's 3pm here and I've just had my first bovril as I'm really cold. I've decided to skip the Gym tonight and do a walk and some core work at home instead. When you're fasting and not finding it easy - high intensity exercise is the last thing you want to do. So I'll walk my loverly pups and then do a lot of planking :-) And then I'll flake out in front of the tv for the night - I love baths so I'll probably have one with my kindle for 30mins or so.
Just gone 6 here and so far just coffee with a bit of cream but now feel like a cup of hot Oxo....mmmmm, yep, that's me off, back in a bit folks

Ballerina x
Oooo, that's better, delicious salty treat,,,,,,,,,mmmmmm,,,,,,,,,feel much better for that

Ballerina x
6am, and I've woken up ravenous. Think I may have breakfast before a walk this morning (if I can manage with my labs big eye looking at me, asking why we aren't walking yet!
Yay, I've finally got my weight down below what it was when I did the "no sugar" thing. (That turned out to be a bit of a disaster for me - put on a kilo in the 18 days I did no sugar, first time I put on weight in over a year or 5:2, then put on another kilo, and it's taken until over a month later to get to just below what I started with. Lesson 1: Don't mess with something that's working. Lesson 2: If something is "forbidden" I want it more.
Thursday and I'm fasting again today.
