Sunday Fast 25th January
25 Jan 2015, 00:06
I'm in again for a less than 1000 cal fast. So far 2 coffees, water, long beach walk with dogs, will go again this evening when the crowds scatter. We are having a long weekend for Australia Day tomorrow. Currently 28C heading to 33C in my neck of the woods, not a cloud in the sky i'm lolling about on my day bed by the pool in a bikini!!! Who would have thought, but it's not a pretty sight LOL   sorry Poms and others in winter, but it is a perfect day here...who needs to eat too much?

Good luck anyone joining me.

Ooh @GMH how I'd love to live near the sea so I could walk the girls along the beach. It must be a pure slice of heaven!
Good luck today. Hope somebody else will be around soon to join you. Mind you, I guess your day is pretty much done isn't it.

Its so good you said it twice!! Oh yes, I guess the tourists must be a bit annoying. We have a gorgeous seaside town in Cornwall called Padstow which I just LOVE. I often think about moving there but I should imagine it is heaving in the summer months. Hmm, not sure I'd like that. At least the holidays are nearly at an end over there. Such a strange thought Image
Don't worry about going off the rails a bit. I'm sure it won't make a bean of difference!!

I'm in today - very pleased to be just where I hoped a few days into the Equinox challenge. I'm sitting in the cold UK & listening in to commentary on Andy Murray's Australian Open match. Plans for the day include TV films, & general lolling about at home - I find this sort of day hardest to deal with as a fastday, better for me to have too much to get done so the time goes quickly. Just ending a 3-week ban on exercise imposed by my osteopath - looking forward to going back to the gym & Parkrun next week. Good luck everyone else who's fasting today.

Back again for a Sunday fast. I have been struggling lately, keeping to 500 cal. I do OK all day then start to go overboard once I start to eat - up to 1200 Cal somedays :frown: . Not making any progress to my Equinox goal. Trying again today to stick to the rules.
Good luck, fellow fasters :clover:  :like:  :clover:

I'm in for a "half-fast" today. My normal fasting days are Monday & Thursday, but I ate so much yesterday that I feel I need a bit of a repair day today. I'm aiming for 1200 calories today.

Good luck everyone!

I'm interested to find other people do 1200 half-fast days. I tried this before Xmas, 2 fast days & a 1200 day each week, but I found the 1200s harder than fast days. I found it easier to go to the gym that day, & then add almost all the gym calories I'd burned off to the day's food - so if I went to the gym & clocked up 300 calories on a 1200 day I could eat 1450 for the day! This worked really well for me - it gave me a real incentive to drop by the gym after work, so I could have a bigger dinner!

I have decided this is a fast day, I usually do Monday and Thursday but realised when I was out that I had only had 120 cals up to now, so it seems a shame to waste it. Chicken and veggies for dinner so I think 500 is do able today

It's already Monday in Japan, but I did fast yesterday. It was a great day. It was crazy gorgeous weather in Okinawa--sunny and warm. The cherry blossoms are out already. I went for a swim and then went to one of the castle ruins and sat on the lawn and read my book. The swim was my first exercise in over a week because of my back. It felt great. I had about 450cals in the end.
