I am not fasting today as my fasting days are M,TH but due to the significance of the day(one year anniversary), I thought I write a note. It has been a great journey for me. I have achieved my goal at least twice and shifted the goal. the third one also I can say I have achieved but trying to maintain by keeping it a bit lower which proves to be a challenge. I for one and I am sure like millions am indebted to Dr MM. The weight I have now is what I have not seen on the scale for 30 years. The amazing thing is that I can go on with the diet and keep the weight even after few outings or celebrations and eat all the things I like to eat.
I must thank Moogie for the forum which has been an inspirational tool for me. Any time I got a bit tired of the diet, I read peoples experiences and I looked at carorees graphs and got inspired again. So I should congratulate you for the amazing achievements and thank you also for all the scientific articles that you post on the forum. I wish you all good luck :clover:
Happy Fastiversary @Pariah and congratulations on your success. Stories like yours are so inspiring. They, and all the things about the forum you mentioned, are what keeps me going.
Thank you, thank you,
Good Morning Pariah
Your anniversary blog is inspirational. I have (intermittently) been on 5:2 and yesterday I made the commitment to stick with the "life style" as I call it. I have dropped a few kgs and now plan on reaching my goal. Another great benefit of the 5:2 is other goals achieved when you use the principle, i.e. I have started swimming 5:2 and decluttering 5:2 (i.e. two hours). Thank you again and congratulations from a sunny autumnal day in Sydney.
Welcome to the forum, winney
Thank you for your welcome Tracieknits. Your weight lost is also very inspirational. One of my goals is to fit into my wedding dress/jacket which I wore thirteen years ago One thing, what is a Fitbit - is it a belt with weights you wear walking?
Can I ask Tracieknits, to achieve your wonderful loss how did you structure your meals on fast day. At the moment I have a small breakfast - apple around lunch time and dinner time, I use up most of my calories.
