Fasting today, Weds 6th March
06 Mar 2013, 08:21
Here we go again

Change of days this week, due to going away, and a busy social schedule. Doing it at home, which I usually find harder than doing it at work. But a busy day ahead, and will make sure I go out for a walk.

Good luck everyone
Morning!

I'll be joining you but I usually fast on a Wednesday so not too bad for me. I feel slightly hungry but it isn't unbearable

Good luck to you too and everyone else fasting today.
Also changing my day as got visitors tomorrow but that's the beauty of this woe you tailor it to fit in with what your doing rather than the other way round. Don't you just love it!

Good luck everyone have a great day.
Morning, fasting today. First day. I will probably do mon and wed so only one day this week but rather start this week than leave it.Wish me luck
Hi guys, count me in :-) Lost 3lbs in first 2 weeks (during which I ate chinese, pizza, and lots of chocolate!), missed last week due to birthday celebrations, now back to it with my second fast of the week today :-) Feeling good! Got a chicken jalfrezi ready meal to look forward to later. Good luck to everyone x
Hello

I usually have 100 cals for breakfast and lunch and 300 for my evening meal.

After reading that so many of you don't have breakfast, and needing 50 extra cals for my planned meal tonight, I resolved to give "no breakfast" a try. I woke up starving, even hungrier than I usually am the day after a fast! Must be psychological. So I had 50cals for breakfast and have just enjoyed a small banana for lunch.

I am actually enjoying fasting today! I think it is because I did Monday as well (would prefer to fast Tuesday/Thursday but did Tuesday/Friday last week) - so I know after today I am "done for the week".

Good luck everyone!
Still feeling really dodgy today, my stomach still won't handle any food, so it looks like another enforced fast today.

When will I ever learn!
2nd fast day today! Not going too bad. Hungry but trying to drink water to help with that! Got a bit of a headache at the mo, so hoping that shifts soon.
Had no brekkie. Had tinned tomatoes, 2 eggs (scrambled) and mushrooms for lunch. Nice!
Planning to have roasted veggies with olive oil for tea, which we both enjoy so looking forward to that.
Think its going ok so far. Didn't eat as much as I thought I would yesterday (feed day as we call it here). Sneaked a weigh in (after lunch) and think I've lost over 3lbs already. I know that you lose a lot the first week (and I have a lot to lose), but it's promising to see it working!
Good luck everyone if you're fasting!
Going OK today. Just been out for a walk to Waitrose, and actually quite enjoyed buying food for tomorrow, as well as some pots of herbs I'm going to plant out now.

Home made liver casserole on a bed of cabbage for dinner, probably around 5ish when the boys come in and will want feeding. Hoping its nice and filling, as I've made 7 portions of it for the freezer and this is the first time I've tried it.
I'm fasting today too, so far just had cups of fruit tea to get me through, I plan on having my dinner of salad and ham with a packet of tomato and herb rice infusions from birds eye at around seven oclock, really looking forward to it as I had it last time I fasted and it really filled me up and also left enough calories for a small pudding and options hot choc before bed, keep going everyone the best time of day is on its way (feeding time! ) lol x
I'm fasting today too. My second fast day. I'm planning to do Monday and Wednesday as a regular rotation.

So far, no hunger. I have a container for Panera Organic Tomato Bisque soup ready for lunch later, at 220 cals.
I'm fasting as well today. I've got the fish stew from the hairy dieters cookbook for tea, which I'll have quite soon with my children, as I've found that I can't cook for them and not eat anything! I'll probably then have a 10 calorie jelly and hot chocolate a bit later.

Good luck everyone!
I'm fasting, too. This is my second fast this week, third in all. This one's going much easier. I woke up at 5:00, my usual time, and it's getting toward 11:00 and I haven't had any hunger pangs at all. The other two times, I did. I'm pretty amazed.
Hi! It's my first fast day! Already hungry and it only 10am (I'm in western Canada).
I have a veggie soup ready if needed at lunch time. Looking forward to lots
of success on this diet!
Good luck to all today!
My 7 th fast day today, just finished my evening meal, couldn't wait any longer. Still have some calories left for an options hot chocolate later if I feel like it. It was not too bad but glad that today is almost over. Might do another fast day on Friday, did monday as well because since its Mother's Day on Sunday I am sure there will be some indulgence. Good luck for everyone fasting today.
