I'm climbing back on to the wagon after being knocked off course by various things this week. Breakfast today was a bowl of fresh strawberries and 2 oatcakes with a smear of honey - 120 calories. Lunch is a puzzle at the moment as our cooker died in the week so all I have is a microwave and a toaster. Beans on toast looks likely!

Hi all,
Breakfast was egg, asparagus and cottage cheese = 200 cals. I am at the lowest weight since starting 5:2 so really hoping to get down to a new target this week.
Keeping busy......As already noticed one side effect of this WOL is that all those little jobs get done!
I normally fast on Mondays and Thursdays, but I'm on annual leave this week and today works out better. Unfortunately I don't have work to distract me and have made the mistake of checking out the foodgawker website to plan Sunday dinner. Doh! I skip breakfast and lunch on my fasting days and for dinner I'm going to be lazy and have porridge and blueberries.
Good luck all of you fasting today, doesn't look like Saturday is such a popular fasting day, I'm on a feeding day but will be fasting again on Monday which will be my 12th fast, it's going well and getting easier every time, 6 lbs down now so defo gonna carry on.
I'm normally Mon/Thurs as well, but had a row with my BF on Wednesday and did not want to set myself up for failure! :dazed: About 5 hours into my day (this is my second fast), I've only had some tea. Hope to go on a long walk downtown and pick up some black coffee. A plate of chicken, black beans, tomato and a bit of guacamole awaits at the end of the day. First weigh in will be on Tuesday. I'm hoping for at least a 1 lb weight loss!! Fingers crossed and good luck to all of you fasters today. This forum gives me a lot of strength and resolve, so thank you! (And congrats on the 6 lb down Jennifer!!)
Me today but met a friend for lunch (had soup and scone) and then small bit of veg risotto for tea, so probably not quite as calorie-deficient as usual but ok...
