So my first fast after my Easter eating frenzy. I weighed in this morning and have put on 1 kg since last week. Phew!!! I felt like I'd put on 10. Well back to it today so hopefully will get that off soon.
It's easier to lose the weight quite soon after you've gained it so I'm sure you'll do fine!
according to the scale this morning i gained 4 pounds since Friday! That's everything I have lost in the last two weeks. I guess that is a lesson learned about overeating on the weekends!
Just mostly water unless ate 14000 extra cals...
Maybe not just water BBT053. I think a fair bit of wine and chocolate!!!
Wine and chocolate are hard to turn down ;)
I fasted yesterday. I did eat some treats on the w/e but not too much, however last evening, overnight and this morning have felt VERY ordinary with nausea and no energy.
Pretty sure its not a virus so thinking it must be the richer Easter foods I'm not used to eating, even after only a month on the diet.
Interesting.
I think next time I'll try leaving a day in between eating higher carb food and fasting. :wink:
You notice I'm not planning to stop the special occasion indulgences!
This is my first fast after Easter too! Monday is usually my first fast of the weekend but with my only daugher home from college so I took the day off from work to hang with her and indulged in a few Easter treats still hanging around. I am up a pound or 3 also this morning but know I did not eat that much so am I not going to let it get me down. I am in this for the long run so just keep going.
I managed not to indulge myself over Easter, not because I am amaizngly strong-willed, but because I didn't buy anything special because there was only my husband and I here. We shared a small Smarties egg on Sunday and that was it!

However, enough of me! I am sure that all of you people know really that, if you eat more carbs than usual, your body will hang onto more fluid and give you a huge temporary weight Your first fast will find you losing that weight and possibly more, so be thankful that you enjoyed your food over Easter and make the most of your fasts this week!
Sorry about the 'amazing' typo in the above and the omission of the word 'gain' at the end of the second from last line. That's what comes of sharing your lap with a cat and an iPad!
I was definitely expecting to gain over Easter but not worried. I'm back on track after fasting yesterday. It's good to know if you over indulge then a few fasts and all is good again. It sure beats the hard slog of counting out 1200 calories everyday.
