Probably not the most popular day but is anyone with me?
I'm with you! It's my third fast this week as if I only fast twice I am only managing to maintain so I have found to actually loose a pound and keep it off I need to do 4:3, the reason for this is over eating on normal days, I know I am doing it but don't seem to be able to control it right now, at least I am not putting weight on and am enjoying eating yummy food 4 days a week! Lol
I am fasting today along with my son and husband.... Not eaten anything yet despite having just burned 600+ calories in the gym! It really goes to show how much I normally eat on automatic as I don't really feel hungry yet either....

This is the start of my second month doing this method and I love it and my family are doing well on it too. We are exercising more and being more conscious about what we eat on non-fast days and are seeing results. My friend mentioned this to me and I am so glad she did.... I am a stone lighter already and feel more hopeful about losing the next stone... and the next until hopefully in the end I will be 6 or 7 stone lighter than when I started...

I'm fasting today, never tried a Saturday before but it's going fine. I only had time for one during the week so when it got to 11 am today and I realised I had been outside riding and doing jobs since 7.30 and had not had breakfast, I thought why not? I've had a bowl of home made soup at lunch time and that's all. Looking forward to my omelette and salad soon. Easy peasy eh?
Today's gone well so far for me... A bit of haddock gratin from M&S at about 3.30pm and just had some thin cut beef steak with mushrooms, onions and salad. Tasty
I'm off on holiday tomorrow so thought I would add another day in to try and counter all of the Belgian Beer and Chocolate which may be tempting me next week :-)

I had Gnocchi for lunch which probably wasn't the best choice but 400 cals so not terrible and that's it until lunch tomorrow :-)

Newme what did you do to burn 600+ calories in the gym - wish I could get that high...
I fasted today even though not planned By time up and jobs done its was 2.00pm and wasn't hungry so thought given I'd had choc and wine yesterday I'd do an extra fast. I too had omelette and salad for dinner Looking forward to a home baked banana and honey tea bread I made today. Everyone else had a slice but I managed to resist. Roll on tomorrow
I'm fasting too, here in Southern Cal. Bit of a grey day so far and not much going on, so I can enjoy my food tomorrow. Nearly 1 p.m. now so quite some time to go - looking forward to a small lunch with a hard-boiled egg and a bit of salad, then broth (or maybe miso soup) til dinner about 7-7:30 p.m. with my OH (who is not on this with me) but he's getting used to it.

Hi - because I am obese when I exercise I burn more... it's the only advantage :oops:

So I did about 15 mins on treadmill
15 mins on elliptical
3 mins on a hand cycle
20 mins of various weight machines - at least 6
5 mins elliptical
17 mins treadmill

Also done an hour and 20 of gardening after that. I must be kicked into fat burning as I have felt full of energy all day!

I did crave chocolate at one point but got over it! :smile:
