Sunday, today. Anyone fasting?
27 Jan 2013, 05:16
I think I am by much in the minority fasting on a Sunday. It's the first day of the working week here. Anyone?
No one else? Am I on my lonesome?
I am fasting today but but am four hours behind you so only 8 am here so only cup of tea so far Good luck with your day
Hello firelady, you're way more than 4 hours behind me! It's 4pm here and I'm on the home straight to dinner at 6-7 ish. Enjoy your tea and hope your day flows easily!
:)
think this will be THE Solution.
Started today! Feel enthusiastic.
Hi Janeg,

This is my second fast day and it's 14:30 here in the UK. I think it helped getting up pretty late this morning and having my breakfast (poached egg on toast) late as a result. I feel pretty wiped out today and am hoping to find the fasting gets easier. Good luck..you've only got a few hours now until your dinner!
....and welcome 150lbs...that's how I feel too!
Thankyou. Onto my 2nd herb tea, and feeling so positive because I have found this forum. Back now to reading the book which I downloaded last night.
Starting my fast Tom for the first time. Omg excited a
& nervous. X
My first day today and going well...looking forward to my dinner though, only another 4 hrs!! Can anyone tell me if I need to download the book, or if it's possible to do this IF without and still get results? x
Glad I'm not on my own. Good vibes to everyone who still has time to go. I've just broken my fast at 7pm here. It has been a really tough one today and I am quite wiped out, no doubt not helped by the perceived lack of progress. Still, that's another one done and hopefully the health benefits are mounting up. Enjoy the rest of your fasts and tomorrow's feast.
I think the book is a good support, especially if you like to know the science behind the concept. It will also help you to do it safely. It is an easy read.
I'm not fasting as such today (first fast is tomorrow), but I'm already eating less. I worked out this morning that my breakfast was 350 calories, which shocked me. I haven't really been hungry all day since.
I'm a Sunday faster:) good luck everyone x
Ooooo - me, me, me - sorry everyone I haven't been on today so didn't realise company was required

I have managed to do ok today. I batched cooked some 'fast' day soups and casseroles yesterday, that I am really glad I did as when I came to make what I was going to have for my lunch today had already been eaten  So I just had a soup instead, lentil, chickpea and chilli soup - very nice and has done the filling trick.

I have drunk nearly a l and 1/2 of water and lots of tea and coffee, however I am worried over the milk in my tea. I have soya milk, which is quite light in calories (70 for 200ml) and I have been counting this in my calories on a fast day, however I have my first cup at 9 ish on a Sunday, but I do not eat until 1 ish so is this going to make a difference?

Oh well, if it's no milk then so be it. I will just drink bushtea and black coffee on a fastday.

Hope everyone is doing ok... It's fish and lots of steamed veg for dinner.

Krissie x
