Fasting today Sunday 2nd June
02 Jun 2013, 06:18
Looks like I'm the first today!
Anyone joining me?
Second week of 4:3 to try and kick start things again- 1/4 lb a week is toooooo sloooowww! Especially as it has been that for 3 months now!
Will survive on black coffee, very diluted mixy up juice and water until dinner (tea) time, then have my 2 poached eggs on toast.
Too hot to go out so housebound again, will get a shred thing in and generally tootle about wasting time as per usual.
Good luck to any other fasters today
Yes me too. I'm not sure if I've lost weight lately due to my random scales...
I'll try to remember to use the chemist's ones. They are blisteringly correct.

Good luck to all co-fastees. I've got a great read and some webpages to keep me company. Also, my good bloke rests from food as we do, to get a health benefit. It's a bit rainy today so indoors feels good.
I'm on board, too, and rather looking forward to it. My sixth fast, and no problems so far. Have a good day, fellow fasters!
Yep, fasting day for me also. I usually fast Monday & Thursday, but Thursdays fast wasn't very successful...I hadn't had much sleep and had a sicky headache all day, but I thought I'll give it a go anyway, but the will power wasn't at its best and I ended up having about 1200 calories!
Going to try and have just one meal at Tea time and see how that goes, usually I have 2 smaller meals at Lunch and Tea, but I'm finding once I have my Lunch it kick starts the hunger!!

Best of luck fellow 5:2 / 4:3 ers! :clover:
I'm here, another maintenance fast but slightly concerned that I am starting the day at minimum weight and there is a long bike ride to come before lunch! Once the eating period is open, however, I shall not restrict myself (per Ballerina's 16:8 system) and I reckon there will be wine with dinner too...

Another worry is I keep putting off Day3 of the 100 pushup challenge, because it is so awful - had better get that attempted today as well, whilst light!
Hi folks

I'm joining you too. I do 4:3 but not sure about how much I have lost due to problems with my scales if they are not on a level bit of the floor.

However my waist measurement is going down which is great and I need smaller sized clothes so that is perhaps a more reliable guide!
 I too am a Sunday fastee, tho only my 2nd time now. This is so simple this plan, I love it! I find doing Micheal's regime of a couple eggs on fast day in am and the late dinner and I drink teas all day seem to make this relatively painless (mostly). Glad to have found this forum.
Yep I'm fasting but feeling unenthusiastic & fed up. Had lost half a stone and then up 1lb last week. Really need to see some downward movement this week to keep me motivated
Best fast day EVER today! Big plate of filled pasta with a tomato and red onion salad, then a late-night snack of a bag of salted popcorn and two glasses of wine. NOT typical fast day fare - it was a real treat - but it still came in at under 500 calories and I enjoyed every mouthful of it! :-)
I'm fasting today as well. I am also starting my second week of 4/3. Here we go! Good luck to everyone-
Think this must have been one of the lowest uptake on fasts ever!
Well done all
Hi, Jane,

The weather was fairly nice in the UK yesterday and it was also the first weekend after pay day for a lot of people, so I think many of the usual Sunday fasters in the UK would have been out and about.

Our sales yesterday weren't dismal, but they were definitely down on our usual volume at this time of the month, so the above scenario might reinforce the "where have all the people gone" feeling.

But, thanks for the well wishes. I made it through the fast day with only a couple of quick waves of hunger. I hope yours was a good one, too.

This WOE really works. I'll be wearing a skirt on Friday that last week I wasn't even able to zip up fully, and the first time I've been able to wear it in two years. Woo hoo! I just wish I'd remembered to weigh myself this morning before having breakfast.
Flip me, janeg..... Ur fast sounds a lot more fun than mine!! Well done
Good to hear that a semblance of summer has arrived in the UK. Can you hold on to it or order a wee bit of it for a week on Friday please when I COME HOME! For a wee while anyway.
Nice on on the skirt cats!
4flips- I've been doing this WOE for ages - 40+ fasts since Jan and a spell in the autumn too, so tend to find it ok now. Can still get broadsided occasionally though.
