Fasting today?

Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.

Temptation is getting to me right now. I do well up to around 2pm and then my body says feed me feeeed me. My stomach is not yearning for food but I feel nervous and anxious right now. I am sure if I eat something I will calm down. Maybe that's what willpower is all about. Being able to overcome this moment. I would like to do just water on the fast days but waiting 24 hours is daunting enough.
Lots of tea or coffee. Unless you've been at this ages, I wouldn't be over-ambitious. I eased in and now can go to 5pm without much thought but it's been a baby-steps things. I used to have a wee snack if I was really struggling...now I don't at all.
Cup of bouillon or miso (5-15) cals helps me over the hump.
Thanks ladies. I made to 6p and enjoyed soup and salad. I'm all better now. I just hate that anxiety thing that hits me when I want to eat but not hungry. I never went to a Dr or anything but I know I have an oral fixation or something because not only am I an eater but also a smoker. I have a lot of challenges to modifying my lifestyle. Right now I am so committed to the weight loss I just now the smoking will come next.
This is good to know because both are my goal. It will be so good to be in charge of my life. Think of all the money I will have in the bank by not eating or smoking. Oh ya!
I was down to three cigs a day(slowly weaned myself)and then I got laid off from job. Been licking my wounds between Dads death and job loss for over a year and a half. Right now I am but a bud on the rosebush yearning to bloom.
