I have the runny nose, the cough, the throat etc meant to be fasting today and had some weetabix 2 hours ago and then was planning on waiting till my 264 cal dinner but I am really not feeling it today and been off the rails on feast days so will feel guilty if I don't fast what to do!!!
I don't suppose Lemsip has many calories in it-if that doesn't help you could try just having little low cal snack rather than a meal.
I've fasted with a cold before - it ain't fun but it is doable. That said, don't feel guilty if you don't get through it. Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks both
I could do a mini fast today and tomorrow which is the equivalent to a full fast maybe?!
Sorry I didn't see this earlier. There is an old wives tail starve a fever feed a cold, I think that speaks for its self, and by the way I can assure you I'm not the old wife.
