So....... I had a lemon juice as soon as I got up and, 30 minutes later, a 0% fromage frais (fromage blanc in French) with berries and a black coffee for breakfast
Hot lemon with honey, ginger, and all the good things that had been adviced to me
Maybe a diet coke later
And we'll se tonight
Saturday is such a 'get the things done' to be able to relax
day on Sunday, that I thought it's a perfect day to do fasting. Lite (2 eggs scrambled w/ salsa & fruit) and then I'm free to be off doing all the things I picture accomplishing all week while managing my husbands busy office.
Yesterday was the first day in 3wks, I had a burger and the 'rush's of the carbs digesting I swear I could just feel my blood sugar rocket that I was ready to fall asleep! Yucky!
Last night had to go to a "Thank you vendors" party for a gorgeous new project and the owners follow the paleo diet, so veggies galore, I was in my element!
Happy fast day!
I love fast days, it makes my life nice and simple. I always feel better and I swear my eyes are whiter and puffiness gone from face?
Anyone else detect small changes? Things you only notice but others wouldn't. That's the stuff I find intriguing.
I had actually gone thru a very traumatic medical accident 10 yrs ago that left me with a very small brain injury with a few centimeters of damage.
I came thru it well enough to resume normal life but always felt a few paces behind others (till lately). I swear I feel totally going now at top speed, more mentally clarity and contributing with out of the box thinking in the problem solving area of our very challenging logistics business even tho I'm a relative newbie compared to everyone else's experience of (13-30 yrs exp).
I also notice a ton less anxiety, something that normally haunts BI survivors. I've only been doing this since May 31st but its emotional benefits are super, making the physical seem like bonus material.
TY Dr. Moseley.
I agree with the puffiness gone. In my case, the dark circles I have since I was a kid are less apparent as well. I also agree with the less anxiety. I don't know why but I truly feel it's a lot more easy to put problems or questions in perspective
Today I decided to stop smoking as well. I never was a big smoker, only 5 to 7 cigarettes a day, but, with the flu, I think it's the best moment to stop.
