Fasting Today - Sunday, 30 June
30 Jun 2013, 03:52
This is the second Sunday in a row, even though I would prefer not to fast on the weekend.

Had a rather piggish week in Kuala Lumpur this past week, after fasting last Sunday and Tuesday. So back to it now.

Have made up this asparagus frittata, at 183 calories per serve (a quarter of recipe). So plan to have a slice for lunch and a slice again for dinner, with a generous salad to top up to 500 calories. The salad will be made up of spinach, cucumber (organically grown by me in a central Hong Kong roof top garden project), tomatoes, capers and red onion, with seasoning and a dash of balsamic vinegar.

Yep, I'm in as well. Normal fast days for me are Mon-Wednes-Fridays, but lately my whole schedule has become a bit muddled up. Quite chuffed, me, 'cause I finally seem to be coming down from my plateau. Anyway, as they say: have a good one. :clover:
IM in.. work Rota means a change of days this week. Will have to do sun ( today) and ties. I have decided to make my fast days easier mainly because of work, so I spent ages devising a menu to look forward to and am having the same for at least three weeks. This is the third week and I can honestly say I am looking forward to my lunch and evening meal which together come out at 497 cals. When I find I'm not looking forward to the days food I will devise another special day!!!!! Well it works for me. Happy fasting
Hi I'm in today also, did unintentional one yesterday so will be able to ease off later in week or do 5 which would probably be overdoing it.
Good Luck to all today's Fasters :clover: Sue
I'm in too. First weekend fast so going to try and see how i go. Might be reading for chocolate as the kids are doing my fruit already! Got some prawns and eggs for tea so doing some sort of omelette type thing. Only thing i am doing differently to a week day is having my cappucino as they are my weekend treat but not having 5 or 6 just the 1. Well fingers crossed i make it through the day. Home luck all
Accidentally in as my lunch was so low cal though why not, might do An extra this week to come in for the June weigh in. Haven't wanted to eat much today either so that has made it an easier fast.
All,the best for those fasting and anyone with their day just starting
I'm fasting today too.

Did my first 36 hour liquid fast on Friday, but then was very naughty yesterday, having indian and chocolate.

May do a liquid fast again today, will see how i feel as the day progresses.

Good luck to all!

Me too.....will have to undo the damage of my 2 week holiday....5 lbs on
Sundays are my liquid fast days and it won't be hard today as it's so hot. I've taken the dog for a v long walk in my Fitflops ( I was wearing them not him ;)) that I love, so thanks to all on here who posted about them :) I need to get some paperwork done and I may as well do it now while the sun is at its hottest, then some gardening. Good luck to everyone fasting today :)
Have had a couple of weeks break from the diet as I was feeling really tired and experiencing leg cramps. To be honest I don't think the diet was to blame for my tiredness but do blame it for the cramps as haven't had any probs over the past two weeks. Anyway am now back on track today and having over indulged last night I decided to skip breakfast and lunch and save my 500 for tonights evening meal and so far it has been a breeze.

Will be fasting again on Thursday. Val
Hey there Val, welcome back. Be sure to stay hydrated, you can get more easily dehydrated on fast days and dehydration is the first thing to check when experiencing leg cramps. :)
Hi all,
I ended up having an unplanned fast day today as I overindulged yesterday and just didn't feel hungry this morning. The day has gone well but it means that this week I have done three fasts instead of two. Aiming for two next week :)
I fasted today after two weeks of half-heatedly following this WOE. Well, I'm happy to report that I kept to my plan, and fasted all day until 8pm despite numerous home-baked temptations. I've just eaten a very filling and nutritious salad and feel very jolly about my day. :)
Posting a day late but I fasted yesterday, too. I had a successful day - despite spending the afternoon serving in a refreshment tent at a charity event, where I was surrounded by home-baked goodies! Not a crumb passed my lips, as I use all my calories for my evening meal. I have one pound to go before I reach my target weight, so I am hoping to see that gone in the next couple of weeks. Well done all of those who had a successful fasting day. Onwards and downwards!
