I'm fasting today for the first time in ages.I have slipped into lazy eating and drinking and gained a lot of weight
I started again yesterday eating lowish carbs and am back in for my first fast of the week. I had a Slimfast pot noodle thing that I found in the cupboard for lunch and will be having a prawn salad for dinner.
I've read some of the Blood Sugar Diet thread and am very impressed, so I've downloaded the book and will start reading it later, so thanks in advance to @Hazelnut20 et al.
The Slimfast thing was OK in an emergency, but I've decided to make my own low cal, low carb sauce to go with some of the Konjak noodles that are in the Penny sale at Holland and Barrett.

Welcome back @SianS, good you are back on the track, hopefully with lots of success. Not joining you today as I'm celebrating holiday and hope to stay on track with a lot of cycling. However, the weather has to improve drastically to make that happen :shock: :rain: :rain: :rain:

Hello @sians - very nice to hear from you!

I totally relate to the gaining weight scenario once you take your eye off the ball. There really doesn't seem to be any magic answer to it, does there? It seems vigilance is what we need...all the flaming time! And that's a big ask...

Anyway, it's very good to have you with us....hope to chat some more xx
