Yes, thanks I did.

I was quite concerned, tho', as it was £££s I couldn't really afford.....I know, I know....

It was a laptop and the guy at the community centre saw it it wasn't loading up properly. This guy's a barrister so he knows his stuff. He told me send it back

To be brief, the guy (seller) was trying to get a bit smart and clever.

I should have known better because his fb wasn't brilliant. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. WRONG.

I did talk to e bay support about it and a few days later the money was returned. I think they had a little word wih this character.

My folks have been pretty good. I didn't tell them about the ebay muddle :frown: :curse: but explained I needed something. We went shopping Yesterday and now have rather nifty Toshiba notebook thingy. Sorting back up discs as I type.

I got most of it back.

Lost some postage and a lot of hassle and time etc.

Its a good job my pal up the road told me or it could have been very awkward.ie if we hadn't acted promptly. No good.
