Great and groovy idea @carorees! I think juliana would agree it should be a stages tent???
How do we do that? ! X
Hi CandiceMarie,

"@LastChancesorry tried to watch the vids but it just says, unavailable
Could just be my ipad..sometimes doesnt allow me to see stuff,no idea why
Is Allan Sherman the guy who used to sing hello Mother Hello Father Here i am at camp Granada?"

Yeah, sounds like its the iPad or connection speed....

and "Allan Sherman", Yep he did "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" ;-) and died of emphysema after suffering from obesity and alcoholism :-(

The second vid was "Overweight People" (sung to Over the Rainbow)...

Arghh 80s hair metal ;-) Defs are OK.

How about:

but you probably can't see it ;-(

Xxx julianna
Thanks for erecting the stage, Juliana. And just in time for this post mortem performance by the father of American folk music, the great Pete Seeger. Step right up Pete, with your grandson, and Bruce Springsteen, and inspire us one more time!

A heartfelt thank you, Pete. RIP.

Note: Bruce and I go back to 1969 - we come from the same little corner of NJ. Pete and I go back to 1954, to my dad playing his guitar and singing "Good night, Irene" to me in my cradle. My parents were lifelong folkies, and I quite literally grew up listening to Pete, and Woody Guthrie (who wrote This Land is Your Land), and all the 40's and 50's folk musicians.

Lots of us Americans are not always proud of our country these days. Much is very wrong, just as it is all over the world. But when I watch this performance, I'm proud to be an American.

And one more note: Be sure to watch the last 20 seconds. I hope to be running when I'm nearly 90 years old, like he was. An inspiration in itself.
aw, three of my favorite things: Pete, Bruce, and Woodie. RIP Pete.
Both Teddy Tahu Rhodes and David Hobson were mentioned in the eye candy thread. Here are a couple of Youtubes so you can appreciate their "talents".

This seems to be one of his favorite things to sing. I've sung chorus behind him for this several times. It's gird your loins territory for sops!

Oh thank you @candicemarie for that! Pulp was the last band we went to see in Manchester in 1996 just before we emigrated over here. I used to love them and once saw Jarvis Cocker in a Sheffield nightclub where I went to uni!
