You type food porn and NOT expect me to look at it?! The dessert sounded perfect for me, chocolate and orange a match made in heaven!
I am off to a winery for a romantic lunch tomorrow, expect piccies!!
That's sounds nice @Debs. Which winery are you going to?
me three. I was warned. I love small portions of beautifully presented food. What has Japan done to me?! :-)

Honestly, though, we'd all be healthier if we ate this way more often...
Afternoon all! Slumped on the sofa having had a magnificent lunch at Meadowbank Winery near the Derwent River @wineoclock. Lovely local produce and service as always. Tassie excels in great food if you are ever down this way. Porn to follow!!

Quite a low carb affair really! I had a lovely salad with pear and candied walnuts. The dessert was sublime as always. I couldn't decide between the chocolate pudding with mandarin sorbet or the salted caramel and chocolate cake (there I go again @silverdarling!). Jus as going to take one for the team and have one so I could taste both, but then we decided on a tasting plate with a bit of everything, including a lovely apricot soufflé. Oh, and a couple of glasses of lovely local Riesling and Pinot noir. Dinner, well, I had to buy a loaf of their spelt sourdough, which I can smell from here! Coming darling........!

@Debs is that you in the background

I am here going OMG ....goodness that is. How wonderful
No, skinny hubby!!
Haha so you are lurking out of shot!  that dessert looks like @Ballerina's cafe gourmand from back in the summer! Enjoy it - while you can
What, you mean until Monday when I am back to my under/over cooked veggies?
SD, that was my first thought when I saw the desserts, café gourmand, oh yes please. Hoping to be in France again this June.....mmmmmm,

Ballerina x
The desserts were wonderful, everyone on different tables kept ogling others' plates and asking what they were! Presentation is always important.
Wow @Debs, they all look like works of art! How could you bear to destroy them? Seriously wonderful food!
Trust me, it wasn't too hard
@Debs the food looks awesome. I've noted the winery for when we get back down to Tassie. I'm already a fan of their Frogmore iced Riesling which is great as a light dessert wine.

Ohhhhh thanks for those photos Debs. Fantastic. Looks lovely and sunny too. Caroline. Hahahaha are they joking? How pretentious! I take food photos. I paid for it so I'll take as many photos of my purchase as I like. Berk.
