You probably have lots of questions, so please check out the FAQ which you'll find linked at the top of the site and if you'd like a quick outline of what 5:2 is, have a look here. If you can't find the answer to your question in the FAQ, please feel free to look through (or post your question on) the Frequently Asked Questions forum where things are discussed in greater detail.
You might find it helpful to search the site for an answer as many topics have already been discussed. Of course you're very welcome to start your own topic and please do introduce yourself on the Newbie Forum we'd love to get to know you and answer your questions personally.
Then, if you're starting - or have started - fasting, why not register your details on our Progress Tracker? After registering you can look at the fantastic results we have been getting in the forum stats section of the tracker.
If you enjoy writing, please feel free to start your own personal Blog, it's totally free and is a great way to keep a diary of your progress with this wonderful way of life.

Remember that if you need some help or advice, it's really useful for us to know a bit more about your situation. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Don't forget that you can thank users for their helpful posts by clicking on the 'thumbs up' icon on their post!
