fasting with a haitus hernia

Can you do this diet if you have a hiatus hernia?
Hi, I have a hiatus hernia and have spent the last three weeks doing the 5-2 diet.
I think it's made quite a difference already. I don't get any vagus nerve thumping that I used to get daily, and I've lost some weight too.
I think it's the lack of pressure in the stomach that helps the hiatus hernia.

Cheers.
