Well, it didn't take me long to get to grips with the Google Charts system :D

So far I've only had time to put together the 3 individual overview graphs on users trackers, but I hope to do the forum charts over the weekend. I already have the basic code ready for the pie graphs.

This should reduce some of the server load (which in turn should reduce errors) as the graphs are not having to be created on the server anymore.

The Google charts are also nicer because you can hover your mouse over the line to fine the weight/waist/fat for the given day.

I may need to do a bit of tweaking, so let me know if something doesn't look quite right.
Just about to start work on the Pie Graphs now, initially this will just be on the filtered results but tomorrow (assuming I even finish these tonight) I'll sort out the all-forum pie charts and make a start on the other forum charts.
Lovely shiny Google pie charts now in place on filtered results!

Feel like staying up to do more, but hubby's gone to bed so I guess I should join him.

Tomorrow! (well, later today looking at the time...)
...busy day today, but found some time this evening to sort out another graph. It's taken about 3 hours, but the Week by Week weight loss chart is now Googlified :)

The graph is nicer now as you can hover over points on it to see the actual weight loss value for that week - and it will tell you whether the value is based on insufficient data to be reliably accurate!

This one should certainly save a bit of server load, it was quite a complex graph before for the server to generate.

Just a few more graphs to do tomorrow, plus the pie charts on the initial forum stats page (before they get filtered).

Hoping to have all this done before we get an influx of Aussies on Monday when Eat, Fast and Live Longer airs over there!
...and another chart done :)

Just a couple of charts to do now and then I can get on with the charts which are pre-generated for the non-filtered (ie, All Users) data.
All the filtered charts are now Googlified :)
Haven't yet sorted out hiding/showing the Frequency Distribution graphs, for some reason they were coming out garbled if they started out hidden and then the 'click to view' link was used. So for now, they're just there on the page. Will sort that out ASAP.

Next it's the pre-generated charts, which shouldn't be too much work as most of the graph creating code is ready, I just have to set up the generator to create the right data format for the charts to display.

Server RAM usage definitely looks to be rather lower now & CPU not maxing out to create the charts.

Hope to do the rest after dinner! Time to go cook now.
Well, I tried to get the main forum stats graphs Googlified tonight but hit a couple of stumbling blocks and took a bit longer than expected. Will have to try to finish them off tomorrow. Apologies for not being able to finish them yet!

Busy day at work tomorrow completing a server migration for my employer, so possibly not much time to work on the graphs during the day - which is frustrating now I've started to make headway, but I need to get a good night's sleep in order to tackle tomorrow's workload.

Will have the graphs ready as soon as I can, and then I'll be back on to the new recipes section.
Moogie, you are a star :star: and I am in awe of your technical expertise. Love pictures so this is really cool.
Ta much
Thanks :) I'm still learning with the Google charts, but they're not as tricky as I thought they'd be!

The pie charts are now all converted, so all that remains for me to do is the main all-forums average loss graph and its frequency distribution. Might try to do one of those before bed.

My apologies to those who have been waiting for me to modify tracker settings for them today, it's been a hectic day with 3 clients on my case for work plus trying to get the forum running a bit more smoothly - we had close to 400 users online at one point today, and goodness knows how many were online when the server decided to choke just beforehand!
...and that's all the graphs converted to Google Charts :)

Woohoo! Now I can look through some of the other requests I've received and try to get some of them done (oh, and the Recipe Section!)
Thank you so much. You are so very clever! Very much appreciated.
Thanks so much for giving your time to this, you're a star.

I hate to mention this - but if I go to the progress tracker it says it's offline for maintenance?!
Really, could have sworn I turned it back on!
Will sort it now thanks.
Thanks...working now!
