I think a Sunday fast day is an excellent idea. It is actually one of my "regular" fast days and I find it quite easy BUT there is always LIFE. And that's what this WOE is all about, flexibility not rigidity. So as long as you aren't expected to cook and eat a giant "Sunday dinner", it's a perfect fast day and then enjoy your Monday with your friend, totally guilt-free.
JR@Juliana.Rivers did you HAVE to put up those pictures..my tongue is hanging out so far,it's trailing along the carpet!xx
Thanks, Judith! I just posted in Fasting today...going fine, just a little nervous about skating while fasting for the first time. Trying to convince my skating buddy to do this too (he wants to lose; he's just a little nervous about the idea of not eating much...one of those who thinks he has to eat all the time). But he WAS taken aback when I told him the granola he eats pretty much every morning = about 6oo cals! Yowza! Said he was going to cut back to a 1/2 cup; better than nothing, I guess, though despite the diet powers that be claiming one can effectively lose weight by making such small changes, I've never found this to be true. So far, I love BOTH the structure and the flexibility of this WOL. Thanks, all, for being here!
