The FastDay Forum

Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

I am a mother and grandmother. It was when I had my three children that I put on weight - after each one I wasn't doing the post-natal exercises. I weighed 18 stone 6 months ago when I began the fast diet, which considering I am only 5' 3" tall is far too much. I have now gone down to 15 stone so I'm getting there!. This is the longest time I have ever managed to stay on a diet.
Welcome and well done on the weight lost so far. Have a look around the forum, lots of help and ideas.
Hi @gettingtherefast And Welcome. :like:
Well done on your massive weightloss that's absolutely brilliant :like: I know exactly how you are feeling right now because my starting weight was 19stones!!!
As for not usually sticking to a diet for very long
I'm also with you on that one, and the only reason we're both still here and plodding on is simply because
this is NO DIET!!!
Seriously though does it feel like all those diets we've done in the past? Certainly not for me.
Stick with this WOL and just as important stay on this
