General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

I found a list online months ago about the things you can do instead of overeating. Later, I actually compiled my own list one very hungry fast day. It ended up being several pages long and having more than 500 ideas. It worked that day, to keep my hands busy and keep me out of the refigerator. It was kind of therapeutic and I thought it might be fun to make a group list here. So, I'll start with a few, come in add a few more behind me. I was thinking it might be fun if we take turns adding two or three things to the list. Just pick up with the number the last person left off with..

1. Take a nap
2. Knit a scarf
3. Chat with an old friend on Facebook
4. Go for a walk
5. Do the ironing
6. Take up painting
Catch up on -

7) Filing
8) Phone calls
9) Weeding
An app a day keeps the calories away! :grin:

10. Pinterest
11. Candy Crush Saga
12. Words With Friends
13. Browsing the 5-2 fast diet forum of course!!
14. Making plans for non fast days. In minute detail.
15. Working...as in at the office. I just cannot fast at home!
16. Change the beds (is that an idiom? I mean do the laundry, put clean sheets on etc)
17. Clear out/tidy up the shed while...
18. Listen to a play on the radio
22 catch up on the latest Archers omnibus whilst gardening
23 brush the dogs and cat
24 have a soak in the bath followed by a bit of a pamper.
25. Sort thru your closet and take clothes to thrift shop that are now too big
26. Catch up on some recorded TV
27. Sip a wonderful cup of tea....the flavors are endless
Today fasting
Swimming, Gardening emailing friends
chatting to prospective daughter in law.

28. Cut sweet peas
29. Mend clothes
30. Mooch round charity shops
31. Watch exercise videos on the computer to decide if you're fit enough to manage
32. Dust the rowing machine (madmax) while telling it soothingly it's turn will come
33. Try and find some exercise clothes that are flattering either on line or at the back of the drawer knowing full well that it'll never happen :bug eyes:

42. Watch Biggest Loser, Extreme Weightloss, Super Size/Super Skinny type of show for thinspriration.
