Hello (again) everyone.
I drifted away from the 5:2 plan for about 6-8 weeks.
I had been feeling a bit despondent with the slow weight loss and rather than sticking it out like some here have done, I kinda threw the towel in.
Worse fool me, now I've put 6lbs back on .
Whilst doing 5:2 I always found the fast days easy.
It was the weekends that did the damage for me. Quite simply I eat too much junk.
And all the fasting in the world isn't going to help if I don't make improvements in this area.
I read with great interest the threads on 16:8 and in fact I stuck to that window of eating on holidays and found it a breeze.
So I plan to combine it with 5:2,
I've also just taken up yoga again, don't know why I ever stopped (bit like 5:2)
The yoga has a brilliant feel good factor so with the right attitude this time round, I'm confident I can keep on the right track.
This forum continues to be as brilliant and informative as I remember it
And I look forward to getting to know everyone again.
See you on the boards, as they say
