I almost forgot that today it's 2 years since I started 5:2! Like @Wendy Darling I feel a little embarrassed that it's been so easy for me. I so admire those for whom it's hard but who persevere.
I met my interim goal of losing 10 pounds rather quickly and then maintained for a while before deciding that 135 was a nicer number than 139. So I now maintain around the goal--lately usually a pound or two above. But I can still wear my smaller-size clothes and feel good, so what's a couple of pounds?
Like others I've changed my eating habits by virtually eliminating potatoes, rice, pasta and white bread--to me they are so bland that I see no reason to waste carbs and calories on them--I save the c's for things I really like: dark chocolate, ice cream, etc. I also eat as much meat, eggs, cheese, butter, etc. as I want. It'll be interesting to see what my blood work looks like when I go for my annual well-visit in a few months.
Best of luck to everyone in this wonderful world of intermittent fasting
