I fasted on Tuesday rather than Monday, today is supposed to be 8th fast day and I can't bump it up to tomorrow or the week end cause I'm going away.
I really don't feel like fasting today, I want to have dinner at my mother's without having to count claories. Would it work ok if I did 3 fast days next week? Do you ever do this? :sleepy:
Hi Humpty if you want to do 3 fast days next week that is fine. However, if you only manage the one this week you don't HAVE to make it up at all. That's what this woe is all about - making it work for your life. It just means that you miss one day's fasting - no big deal (as long as it's not a regular thing). It's also possible that by missing a breakfast you could turn your day into 16:8, or perhaps if you just have dinner at your mother's and nothing the rest of the day you will be eating less calories. Do whatever fits in with what is going on in your life, don't worry about it.
This WOL is a flexible eating plan to suit YOU so make it fit your lifestyle as I'm sure you are aware lits of members including me do 4:3 regularly so in answer to your question yes you do whatever suits you and passing up on today is inkeeping with fitting you.

@humptydumptyyou can do whatever you want! That's what's so brilliant about this WOE!
Don't worry @humptydumpty, just doing one fast day is what people on maintenance do so all you will be doing is keeping your weight the same for this week. If you want to put in an extra fast next week that's OK but if you are more comfortable fasting two days a week then forget about it.
thanks, it's justs one of those days when I'm tired, have to work and the idea of a nice meal at my mum's will get me through the day.
