Thursday fast is fast approaching and I get massive mouth ulcers, this one is a double and just under my top lip inside my mouth, but I have learnt how to eat without upsetting it too much. It flares up during the day and brings tears to my eyes, feels like acid on a open wound.

Is this a big enough stress to do a half fast. By the way I was thinking if I had a big stressor on a fast day how does one halve a normal fast day of 500 over two days. I was thinking of doing a regular fast but take two days to do it thurs/fri. How many cals would I have on those two days to make one fast day. Sorry I have brain fog, goes with the age.
Zamale that sounds awful. Why don't you just forget fasting if you don't feel like it and just start again next week. Mind you it sounds like fasting might give your mouth a rest. Sorry I'm not much help I just hope the ulcer goes away quickly for you
oh wow. I really hate mouth ulcers. That and sore throats are probably my least favorite ailments. It's such a small thing that can make you so miserable. I hope it clears up soon!
