Just as a reminder that it is ok to let rip sometimes I have pitched this tent so that anyone who is going on holiday or has any other reason for taking a break from our woe can come here and moan about their water retention and food in transit afterwards. Last year someone was despairing because they had taken such a break and we called it 'Fabulous Fortnight' I had forgotten about it but after reading nursebeans post holiday lament I remembered it and what a jolly thread it turned out to be.

If we don't join in eating fests sometimes, it makes losing weight unsustainable. So here is a reminder that it is ok to go for it sometimes as long as when that time is over, we man up and get back to it.

It would be good to see some hints and tips here for holiday eating strategies.
No hints or tips yet - just enjoying being at the beginning of a week off ... and had toast this morning
Start the way you mean to go on @silverdarling and enjoy your time off. You can come back here on your return if you need to but because you are an old hand at this and know how it works I don't expect to see you back here
