Fasting and HGH IGF-1
29 Sep 2016, 17:29
I understand that HGH and IGF-1 is associated with a decrease in lifespan and an increase in cancer.

It's been shown that fasting and caloric restriction increase lifespan, but what about the all the growth hormone you produce while fasting? Is the growth hormone you get while fasting different than growth hormone from animal products? I want to try and understand what's going on.

Thanks,
Nick
