Fasting Thursday 29/10/15
29 Oct 2015, 08:14
Good morning fasting folk, let's get another decent fast under the belt this autumn/spring morning.
My cat is curled on my lap while I sip my lemon verbena, there's plenty to clean up in the house after yesterday's invasion by two grandsons, so a busy day ahead.
Good luck everyone, keeeeeeeeep fasting!

I'm here too, I was just sitting quietly in the corner!
I have just had Slimfast Konjack noodles pot for lunch and it was very tasty. Tonight I have an M&S low calorie Cottage pie which I'll have with some veg.
Happy Fasting

I'm fasting too - first time I've managed two days in a week for ages, and I had a few weeks off altogether for holidays (although I did do 16:8 most days). Feeling OK, just the odd tummy rumble!
My other fast day was Tuesday so just the one day in between and I seem to find that a bit easier, surprisingly - I'd be interested to know if that's true for others?
Sending good thoughts to all those fasting today!

I'm in today; Monday always seems busier than Thursday here on the forum. Just now having my pot o' green tea, the usual later today/tonight. It's been a LONG week, glad it's almost over! Oh, and my son and I got tix to see the National Theatre Frankenstein, with Cumberbatch as Victor. I missed out last time, but Halloween is kinda the perfect day to go! And next week I'm going with a friend to a local orchestra performance of pop music focusing on David Bowie, one of my faves! I'd rather see him (I have, a number of times), but this might be fun too.

Dinner done, and although it was OK I don't think I'll buy the M&S cottage pie again, it was padded out with swede and carrot which made it very sweet. The Slimfast noodles at lunchtime were tasty and very filling.
Next week is going to be more difficult a I'll be away from home. I'm hoping to see a loss on the scales tomorrow.

Sorry, sorry fellow fasters. Such a busy, bonkers day at work. It's past 1am and I'm falling into bed, for another. Yes I fasted. I hope all is well with you  :clover: :victory:
ADF

I fasted yesterday and I lost 1 kg 100g. I now weigh 55.2 kg. My goal weight is 51.7 kg. so you see I am way over still. My BMI is now 21.56, so in that way not too bad. But I have been loving my carbs recently :frown: . And it shows round my middle. So I have decided to do some Alternate Day Fasting, to get the weight down some. I have an important specialist doctor's appointment in a week's time, and do not want to be fat for that. SO I have decided to fast Saturday, Monday and Wednesday. In other words: a short stint of ADF.

Steady on @Margotsylvia, slowly slowly, gently gently does the job better than fad attack!
Your BMI is fine, your shape is Life and Genes, maybe some high intensity interval training to tone up your muscles but please don't over do any of this :0)
Take care honey, and good luck at the doctors \o/
