General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

Good morning,
Right now I have a lot going on in my life, work, some family stuff, and the biggest thing is a new relationship (that has had a few challenges.) Anyway, because of all the stuff going on, I haven't really been eating great. Often I have no appetite or desire to cook anything (oh and my microwave is broken!) So, my question is should I still try to fast tomorrow. I decided not to fast yesterday and tried to eat fairly normally. I'm going to try to have a normal eating day today. So, should I fast tomorrow and have my grilled chicken salad for dinner or forego fasting until I'm back to a normal eating routine?
Thanks!
Well, congratulations on a new relationship. How exciting! You should do exactly what feels right for you. Personally, I try to keep my fasts regularly ticking over, but then my life never changes. I have no idea what you should do in such an exciting and challenging time! What ever you do, go well.
Thanks Sally. I haven't been in a relationship in a REALLY long time! And unfortunately, a close family member of his is in the hospital right now, so there's some added stress there. But, we'll see how it goes.
Hi @cblasz! Congrats on a new chapter opening for you!
Remember,even good changes are stressful,so....
If you're not eating properly anyway, due to adjusting to changes elsewhere in yr life, maybe you shouldn't add fasting on top of that
Really i think if we do two or three fast days, the other days should be nourishing, and it doesn't sound like yours are right now x x x
