Fresh start for Candy
27 Sep 2013, 08:20
Hi all xx
Been away for 2 weeks at my daughters..her passing her exams put us in holiday and party mood too..wooohoooooo!
Havent missed any of my fast n repair days but there's deffo been too much feasting on the feed days!
Regrets? Yehhhhh coz haven't enjoyed the over stuffed feeling,or more or less regaining the two inches i'd lost from my waist.
And also .. I havent enjoyed the heartburn,or the tighter clothes!
BUT i visited here lots..more helpful than any book! ...and i am now so well informed as I return home and back on my 5:2 path!
And also, in the meantime, have bought loads of cheapo size 20 tops to tide me over, and sold some on Ebay that neither fit me nor would they suit me if they did! BadBuys!
So,yep, i am sorta back to stage one but not really,as i 'm so much better prepared for my fresh start..
i know i can handle - and even enjoy - fast n repair days and i know what i should be doing on the inbetween days
Sooo the last five weeks havent been a total failure after all!
Just wanted to say thanks to you guys here who are so supportive, always there with help, encouragement and consolation/ congratulation..so very willing to share your experiences..
I am so glad i found this great place and such groovy people! X X

Good for you CandiceMarie, I must admit I was flagging yesterday on my second fast of the week but now I feel 'zipped' up again. Even though sometimes the scales don't give you the answer you were looking for, just take a look in the mirror and revaluate. I've especially noticed the fat loss in my face and tummy (my pants aren't so tight).
Best of luck and take care x

Yay, Candy, you go girl!
Great that you've had cause for celebration - well done your daughter!
You now sound as if you're in the right frame of mind to carry on.
Good luck!

Good to hear you're not giving up - this does work, and sometimes it takes a bit of time to get the message that we really do feel better when we're not bloated and overfull - but it takes a long time to have reached our top weight so it's not always easy to unlearn the habits we've spent years, or decades , cultivating.
You'll get there, just be patient.

Welcome back candicemarie :clover:
Well you know how to do it and when to do it and you're now going to be cautious for a few days but you also know that it does work
Good Luck with your fresh start :clover: Sue. :clover:
