Had lunch out on a fast day
31 Oct 2013, 17:09
My daughter is also fasting, and today we had a shopping trip together, and we couldn't swap the day of the trip, or the day of our fast. So we had to forgo our lovely lunch out together. But we did manage to have a sit-down and a little lunchtime snack. We don't normally eat much during a fast day, but like to have some bouillon or a tiny salad for lunch. Pret-A Manger not only sell miso soup, but do little protein pots :like: So I had two hard boiled eggs and a few spinach leaves, and my daughter had the miso soup. Perfect!

Ok, our little snack was fairly expensive for what it was, but at least we sat in the warm, had a rest, and felt like we had lunch out.
