Granted, I did have a giant bowl of soup but it was low in calories and I was hungry for it, I may have wolfed it down and now I feel bloated and a bit gross...

Maybe I should choose something other than soup for my fasting day tea.
Spreading the 500 cals over the day makes me more hungry.
Can't wait for my 5:2 recipe book to get here.

Anyone who saves their cals for tea time, do you feel a certain amount of bloat whatever you eat?

Off to make a peppermint tea....

S
Yup I'm of the crazies that saves their calories till dinner time. Haven't experienced any bloat yet, but thank goodness for tea and water during the day. My tummy is screaming my name for food by 3pm on fast days ;)
I probably should have waited a while as after I had a peppermint tea and took the dog for a stroll it settled down and I feel fine now :-)

Try and take it a bit slower when you break your fast and you will be more able stop before you get to the bloat stage.
