Bearing in mind that I am doing ADF/EOD fasting at the moment...

Hubby and I are away at the weekend (Friday afternoon until sunday lunch time ish) and also I have a lunch AND afternoon tea booked for Friday! These were all booked before I started ADF.

To complicate things, I should have fasted today but ate way too early yesterday and so caved at dinner time and had rather more than 500 calories  I didn't add it all up but I'm guessing about 700-800 (three slices of roast pork, a 2"x2" piece of crackling, three small roast potatoes done in rapeseed oil, a pile of steamed cabbage and cauliflower, a spoonful of peas, some gravy and some apple and onion velouté) plus a bag of M&S lentil crisps (90 cals) earlier in the day...

So, HELP!

Do I fast properly tomorrow and Wednesday? Chuck a back to back fast into the mix by doing Thursday as well? Or, fast Tuesday and Thursday, enjoy Friday, Saturday and Sunday (I am not going to pretend to you all or myself that after a night in a lovely posh hotel I won't want a yummy breakfast) and pick it all up again on Monday?

Any and all advice appreciated!
Maybe just 5:2 this week then back to EOD next week? So fast Tue and Thursday this week and make them really good ones. This way your keeping your body guessing, fitting intermitant fasting into your life and enjoying a wonderful foodie weekend away ( which is the best bit about this WOL- flexibility and no guilt around food. Yay!)
Xxx Julianna
Great idea what Julianna says. Make them really good ones. And why miss out on good social events cos of fasting? And you've earnt it. Hope you have a great time!

 Enjoy you holiday life is for living so live thus lives because I don't really think there's another. Lol
Do what you can this week then repair the damage done on your return with ADF.
Thank you girls. I think I knew that would be the answer, but you know when you just get your knickers in a twist about stuff?
I think - don't over-think it! If you can't fit in all the fasts you'd normally do - give yourself a break and do it when you can. This is supposed to be a WOE that is sustainable and if you start to feel that you're denying yourself enjoyment and socialising then you're less likely to be able to stick with it for the long term.

You've done so well so far - relax and enjoy the ride :victory:
Yep, very good at the knickers in a twist stuff!!! Yes to. Julianna's suggestion of 5:2 and then back to EOD. You deserve to treat yourself,
I also like Julianna's suggestion. Perhaps on Wednesday you can throw in a 16:8 or just a fairly careful day, if it will make you feel less guilty. I've been working on half-fast days lately because I'm usually too black and white about things and either do it right or go overboard. I think learning to compromise is part of the process for long-term success.
I'd go with Juliana's suggestion.
