I've got a case of the Uglies
02 Mar 2014, 09:56
When I looked in the mirror this morning a monster with swollen eyelids was staring back at me  . The scales also showed 1.1kg more than yesterday.
Clearly I must have had too much salt and sugar yesterday :dazed:.
Hate it when I am swollen like this :curse:
I know exactly how you feel - me too! X
Slowly but surely over the last few days i have felt uglier and uglier, and just like you, feel i've had too much sugar and salt and it shows....
I think coz generally we're avoiding salt and sugar and not too many carbs,we become much more sensitive to what our bodies are telling us,so we are quickly aware of being bloated etc..and that leads to attacks of the Uglies! But its not really Uglies, its just being more in touch with our bodies and sometimes feeling uncomfortable with the truth of the messages!
We are much harder on ourselves than others are,so don't get too downhearted x
Let's just keep on keeping on with fasting and repairing, eating better and looking after ourselves!
