I am so excited, I have a job interview on Thursday for a job I really want! However, my usual light day is then, and the interview is in the afternoon (2:45), kinda the worst time of day for me (food/light day wise). I'd like to get your feedback on what's worked / not worked on varying your light day due to special circumstances like this. I really prefer not to vary, since I find that the routine nature helps me stay on course. But then I could also have a hardboiled egg (one of my go-to snacks for light days) to tide me over for the afternoon. What do y'all think?
To express a concern would seem to imply that it'd be best to swap a fast day for a feed day. You're a veteran faster so a one day variance won't hurt.

Best of luck with the interview.
Whatever feels right ..... egg it :clover:
Good luck! I hope you get the job@ferretgal!
There used to be an advertising slogan,' go to work on an egg'..
In your case,go to interview on an egg :like:
Or,see how you feel tomorrow morning...if you feel you 'd perform better at interview having eaten more substantially,do that...you can always make up with another fasting day fri/ sat/ sun or next week xx
I wouldn't fast for a truly important interview out of a concern that I might be breathing out toxic diet breath without knowing it.

I learned the very hard way that there is no way of telling if this is happening save asking someone very honest if I'm exuding dragon breath. Even then such a quesrion can cause the other person embarrassment.

I also find that switching days around seems to be more effective than always fasting the same days. I think the body gets smart if we always fast on Mondays and drops the metabolic rate in advance. FSt on TU or WE and it takes it a while to figure it out. So there is no harmep in switching days.

Good luck with the interview!
Congrats on the interview! I would switch fast days. You want to be your best for the interview, not being distracted by hunger. But that's me. If you think an egg will tide you over with no worries, go for it!

Good luck!
I would switch days too. You want to feel your best and be thinking clearly and not worrying about being hungry or anything. If you even have to miss one fast day, it's not the end of the world!
Thanks for all the replies, especially the reminder of possible bad breath; I'm switching my light day to Friday this week.
Good luck for the big interview tomorrow! Yeah, like everyone said.. fast on Friday or later.
Diet breath is one thing... but the growls is the other to watch.. If your a growler on fast days its not a good look.

Tell us how you go!
Hope it goes well @ferretgal :clover: xx
I used to be a strict Monday/Thursday girl, but lately I've started swapping days, like I am today - because I want to go to the cake shop in Launceston, which is perhaps a less serious reason for swapping - and the sky has not fallen in. It's ok. I can do it. And so can you. You will not fall off the fasting wagon by swapping one day. Go well with the interview.
I can see you have enough advice here so i'll refrain, however i just wanted to wish you good luck! I hope you get the job.
Good luck today sweetie!!
Thinking of you today @ferretgal and hoping your interview goes well and that you get that job you really want! Keep us posted and good luck! :clover:
Good luck hun. Go for it!
