General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

Hallo all, thought I'd pop my head round the virtual door and see how you all are!

I'm not to bad, still got a lot on my plate atm, the person from banardos coming to talk about Sofias behavior never came, so trying to chase that up, looks like Stu will be getting a new job, but it may not involve moving, so that's good, :) not doing the 5:2 or any variation of it atm, but rather am using an app called Nutracheck, log everything I eat every day, i've been set a max amount of cals to eat a day (1700 for me) and if i choose to exercise i have to burn 200 cals, it's a nice app, not quiet as good as 5:2ing, but I'm starting to shift the comfort eating weight I put on!

On happier note, Sofia turned 3 on the 27th of may, where the hell has that time gone! D: she had a wonderful day, got a playhouse, gardening bits, a toy lawnmower, pavement crayons, books, skylander models and matching plate, bowl, cup set, and some dosh, so very spoilt madame :)
Lovely to hear from you @DragonsHeart!

Am very pleased to hear that some things are resolving themselves. Very sorry that the Banardos (sorry, have brain freeze - can't remember how to spell it right!) person didn't show up - that is so disappointing. Hope it can be quickly rescheduled.

I am mother to 3 children...and know what a difficult job it is! If you ever want to sound off a bit, feel free to PM me. I am by no means an expert, but I hate to think of you suffering as you appear to be. Sometimes, another person's perspective can be so helpful. Please don't worry if you don't feel like doing so though - I'll totally understand. Just thought I'd offer in case it might be of some help.....

Look after yourself xx

You can self refer to the CDC (Child development centre) or your counties equivalent, or ask your doctor to do it. Been there, done it, got the t'shirt.
Nice to hear from you @DragonsHeart Thank you for the update, what a pain for them not to keep the appointment you keep pestering + chasing them until the visit has happened, so glad OH is getting sorted and maybe the move is off for you, you're sounding more chipper so obviously the small changes are making a difference.
As for fasting we're all here for you on your return, at least the app will help keep your calorie count inline and some exercise will be helping, could you maybe slip into skipping breakfast and doing some or all 16:8 days to
ease you back into this WOL,
good luck to you and all the family. :clover: :clover: :clover:
