I do not normally buy ready made meals but in M&S at the weeken they had the Fuller Longer range on offer....well I have just had the venison in red wine sauce which came with parsnip mash ...it was really lovely and filling and I served it with large portion of broccoli...the M&S meal came in at 320 calls, perfect for a fast day if you are rushed ...

mmmm that sounds delish will have to try it. It really is so much easier buying meals that are already calculated don't you think?
In the winter, which was the time that I first started on this WOE, I often had a M&S Fuller Longer meal for my fast day dinner. I liked it because it was quick and easy, tasty and saved me loitering too long in the kitchen where there was food to tempt me. As I got used to fasting I started cooking from scratch which I do on normal days.
Tesco Finest do a selection meals that are around the 300-450 calorie mark. Some are nicer than others but for a lazy, throw in the microwave meal where no calculating or effort is required it's really simple.
They all come in a clear container with a cardboard surround bit in the middle, this is an example of one:-

I find it easier on a fast day to have my meal first before I cook my son's dinner. That way I'm not remotely tempted.
Some of the fuller longer range are nice too but some have quite high calorie contents. You have to read the labels quite carefully
