Michael Mosley on Australian TV
03 Jul 2018, 10:47
Maybe this site will get a few more visitors after Michael Mosley appeared on Australian SBS TV tonight on the program called Insight.
The episode is called The Exercise Pill and looks at exercise as a significant tool in combating chronic health conditions. Michael is part of the audience. He mentions 5:2 as well as the eight week blood sugar diet in relation to diabetes.

I know I really need to get more exercise, especially now I am over 60. I am active in my work, but that doesn't give me resistance exercise that my body needs.
Time for me to get moving and do something!!

Hi @MerryMelb and thanks for sharing that! It would certainly be great if more people starting appearing here - old and new!!

My only exercise is dog walking - and the occasional spot of yoga, depending on my energy levels. Sure wish I could do more!!

Given that I am over 60, I am aware that I need to exercise more. Although I work in an active environment, I don't get the necessary resistance workout from that.
The episode, titled The Exercise Pill, examines exercise as a crucial weapon in the fight against chronic medical disorders. Michael is a spectator here. In connection to diabetes, he brings up 5:2 and the eight-week blood sugar diet.
