Somewhere on line saw in most popular books for 2013 the above tome that got a lot of us here. I think it has only scratched the surface and will sell on. Also hasn't this forum really built on the original information through our interesting funny and sometimes spirited conversations

It has made fasting accessible to many people who would have shied away from the idea, like me. This forum has contributed so much to my personal understanding of the issues and concerns, not all of which I agree with, but it is very instructional to see how people have run with the idea and made it work for them!
Yes it's made fasting accessible as debs said and more importantly understandably in simple terms, there is still a lot of ignorance out there but 5:2 does seem to be spreading slightly and as we all get enthusiastic and keep recommending this WOL + forum as I do and as I've been saying to some newcomers this forum explains it in more simple terms for me personally after reading the book and the gist of 500 cals 2or 3 times each week basically that's all I took in then found this forum and have learned far more from everyone else's comments and experiences and its this information that has "topped" the health benefits for me personally and I will never ever go back down the weight gain road again.
I noticed it was in the top ten for 2013 in the Bookseller mag as well in UK - that's the main trade journal for bookselling / publishing over here - and their comments were that many more have 'copied' it, but apparently it is still selling well a year later - good as people will be getting the right information.
