We have had a new en suite bathroom put in. About 6 weeks ago I bought a new set of scales identical to the ones I was using (Ozeri). The 1st set of Ozeri scales weighed exactly the same as my old Tanvic scales. However the new scales weigh between 0.2 and 0.4lb lighter than the old ones and .1% or .2% lower on fat meaning that on weigh day I am going backwards and forwards between the 2 bathrooms trying to reach an acceptable average. Today I have decided to move the old scales into the new bathroom and forget the lure of the new kinder ones.

I'd just go with the friendlier scales and donate the others (to my "enemies"..)
Great Lil if you still need to lose weight perhaps a more accurate reading for you ( but they don't differ by much & its only numbers Lol)
Seriously I've been holding back on getting new ones I don't think knowing how much fat + water I'm holding will do me any favours
On a recent visit to the nurse I got on her scales and was 5 lbs heavier than on my own at home 15 mins earlier, obviously that's a big difference so I had to keep telling myself '' its only numbers '' but I certainly won't be making the next appointment for her on a Monday after it will be morning after my 2 nd fast of the week Sue

I know it's only numbers but if I've had a bad week it's tempting to go with the lower reading to make my chart look better . Anyway I'm now sticking with the old ones so I know that any loss is 'true'
You're being very honorable using the same scales and sticking to a true loss but I understand your reasons. I'm not sure I'd have had the same will power.
