Proud of my restraint
05 Aug 2013, 11:52
I am fasting today and I was smugly and unusually organised yesterday when I preparing a lovely calorie counted salad for my lunch today. So you can imagine my disappointment to realise that I had left it at home.

I have just been to the local Express Supermarkets near where I work and none of the lunches/salads were low enough cals to suit my fast - in fact most of them were alarmingly high in cals for so called healthy choices so I am quite proud of myself for not caving in and just buying something unsuitable. I bought a 205g tin of Heinz Spagetti hoops for 109cals and, whilst these were not something I would have previously considered having for lunch, they are filling the gap nicely

Good Luck fellow fasters!

Yes the calories in "healthy" choices can be a surprise. Well done indeed for your restraint.
