Skinny Bashing
19 Mar 2014, 03:38
There are a few slender 5:2'ers here who fast for health reasons rather than weight. I just wanted to flag that Grazia UK have written a good article this week on skinny bashing, as skinnies are often very misunderstood and not always anorexic.

It's not available on-line but thought you might like to know in case you were thinking of buying the mag this week. Bonus points for the fashionista tent too. Grazia is my guilty pleasure

Thanks for that Karen, this is exactly why I no longer display my BMI, there have been criticisms in the past on here of people with a low BMI.

I have a son, age 22, whose BMI is probably about 18, and a daughter, age 26, whose BMI is about 18.5 (and she's very athletic).
They both eat plenty (clearly take after their dad, not me!). Not only are thin people USUALLY not anorexic or bulemic, but many of them aren't trying to be thin - it's just the way they are made. It's certainly true of my kids.
