General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

No loss??

Hi guys,

I stared this new WOL last Monday, I had my fast days on Monday and Thursday, every other day I stayed under 1500 cals, I also exercised.

I got up excited this morning and I'm the exact same weight :(

I'm sticking with it but feel really rubbish after a week of hard work.

Eat more! Not much more, just a bit more! Expecting too much of your body if you're exercising, eating little and running after wee ones.

Oh and relax, give it at least a month. The weightloss here can be so slow that it doesn't register with normal weight fluctuations. :D

Hi Betty. Have you been taking measurements as well?
I haven't lost for the last 2 weeks but my waist measurement has gone down.
Sometimes it helps to try on something that doesn't fit you anymore and see if its any more comfortable, or easier to get on.
Don't be discouraged Betty. Stick with it and you'll get there.
Try and focus on the health benefits too.
Keep reading the posts on here. You'll find lots of encouragement and inspiration. You are not doing this alone.

I think your right with giving it a month. I only took my measurements down on Thursday (couldn't find the tape), maybe next week there will be a difference there.

So looking forward to results in any shape or form. Thanks everyone x

I haven't had any real weight loss since starting this woe but I tried on a dress today that was too tight a few months ago, today it went on no problems :D

I feel different too :)
