Hi All

This is my third fast day so far and I have tried a different fasting pattern for each fast I have done.

I work nights so I wanted to try fasting from lunchtime to lunchtime the first time. I managed it but got really bad headaches which someone on here advised me was probably down to lack of fluids.
I wanted my second fast to be longer so I went from 1pm to 6pm the following day with LOADS of hot drinks along the way and all my calories in one meal, and this worked really well and felt incredibly easy. I was occupied all day though.

Today I am trying the conventional full day fast where you don't eat anything all day and then start eating again the next morning. I had all my calories at lunch time and am still drinking plenty. However, my main problem today is that my choir rehearsal has been cancelled so I am stuck at home instead of being busy.

I just need to try and occupy myself for the rest of the evening to keep my mind off eating as boredom is my main food trigger.

Wish me luck!! :)

I have lost 3 pounds in my first week and a couple inches off my waist so am really pleased with the results so far.
Hope today working out as planned. I did the same as you to start with and tried different ways of fasting before settling into the pattern that suits me best. Good luck.
