I class my fast as being from when I wake to when I go back to sleep. I don't eat after my evening meal anyway so prior to this WOE I would never have thought ' god I haven't eaten for 14 hours'. So why start now? I think some people get bogged down with the numer of hours involved. I think if you work shifts then it must be harder. But for me, it's only a day :) I don't 'count' the hours as I often don't eat until lunchtime following a fast and that would be ...... Lost count!

I stop eating solid food after dinner the night before a fast day, but I do still have juice, tea with milk etc that evening. I then have no more than 600 calories no matter what form they take until breakfast the day after the fast day. But a normal day breakfast for me is only about 200-250 cal and I am nearly always still hungry until lunch the day after the fast day.
