General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

No time to do a full rate/comment at the moment but I think there were already some responses in the Resources forum early on if it helps? :)

remember that the NHS pays out millions of pounds every year to support Homeopathy

where is the scientific evidence for that?
Interesting article. Re side effects they have flagged. I have to disagree with most. I feel great when fasting and don't seem to suffer from tiredness
I have notice bad breath at times but I do have a few mints on hand for that

The longer I do it the easier the fasts get and now I can go 24 hrs between meals on that fast day. About half an hour before my 500 cals I'm a bit grumpy but otherwise I'm fine now. I hink that's more psyhcological that any thing though as I know food is coming.
Can't understand their negative attitude.
.like madeyemoodysmum I haven't experienced any of these side effects either.
As long as I continue to feel as well as I do I will continue.
