General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

2nd Fast day

5.30 pm down in Oz so not too long till dinner!
I'm doing ok, pretty much a repeat of Monday with a banana for brekky, strawberries for lunch and nibbling on celery and a nectarine till I have some fresh tuna and veges for dinner.
I haven't weighed yet, planning to keep it to weekly.
I'm so far finding it impossible not to cut down on the feed days as I don't want to undo my good work- I'm sure that won't last!

I've only just finished my 4th rest day & as far as I understand it you don't need to cut down on feed days, just don't go silly :)

I guess your body needs food inbetween fasting in order not to go into starvation mode ....... That was just a guess, I know very little about 5:2 I just know that it's the easiest & most effective diet I've ever tried :) ... Others will comment more intelligently LOL

Well done gigi55. It is nice being at the end of the day isn't it. I am looking forward to my weekly weigh in tomorrow morning.

Im on my second fast day today also! I have decided to weigh myself bi weekly - I really hate those scales and would rather feel the benefit through the tightness of my waistband - sorry, looseness!!!
